Learn the art of sea kayaking while absorbing the breathtaking beauty that the Bay of Islands offers. Enjoy tranquil and isolated beaches, superb coastal scenery and fascinating Maori archaeology. This is the cradle of European settlement in New Zealand and a focal point for Maori history. What sets it apart, is the ease with which you travel between the islands. We will stay on Moturua Island and explore Motuarohia, Motukiekie, Okahu, Waewaetorea and Urupukapuka. Moturua Island offers a network of walks through bush alive with sea birds such as Australasian gannets, cormorants, shearwaters, and the lovely little blue penguin.
